I've worked for over 20 years as both a cognitive behavioural therapist and as a clairvoyant psychic medium, providing public demonstrations of mediumship to groups around the UK. With my wife Asha I produced the 'When Two Hearts Meet' oracle card set in 2020. In the same year my third book, called 'Eternal Flames', was also published.
I work closely with my spirit guide. I love working with Spirit. I consider my career to be a 'calling', a vocation through which Spirit presents helpful messages to me, to be shared with those in need of timely evidence in their day-to-day lives, to help uplift and inspire.
Spirit presents information to me in various ways, including through the use of psychic images, words and feelings.
These abilities are called clairvoyance (clear seeing), clairaudience (clear hearing) and clairsentience (clear feeling).
I also receive information in the form of a 'psychic download', whereby I suddenly know something without the need for accompanying pictures, words or feelings. This is called claircognizance (clear knowing).
One of the most heart-warming aspects of my work is presenting evidence of survival from departed loved ones. This is called mediumship.
I continue to be inspired by the remarkable degree of evidence that family, friends and even pets can sometimes present to us, from the Otherside. Details can include personal names, place names, locations, the type of work a person did and knowledge of experiences a departed spirit shared with a loved one, that only they would know about. As mentioned above, even pets come through from time to time.
I teach Hypnotherapy, NLP, Indirect Hypnosis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy training courses. I have extensive knowledge of all of these topics and lots of practical experience, gained in professional practice, enabling my clients to overcome addictions, phobias and other challenges.
I like to work in an interactive way, demonstrating everything I share, whilst providing plenty of time for delegates to ask questions and to gain good 'hands on' experience of their own, using the methods presented. This ensures that the 'theoretical' side of the training is quickly translated into practical 'know-how' for you.
Over the years my clients and students have included several TV and radio presenters, psychiatrists, doctors, school teachers, bankers, journalists, corporate executives, solicitors, a commercial pilot, British peerage, a surgeon and a number of nurses - as well as many other people from all walks of life. As a result I've directly trained many professional hypnotherapists who are now themselves working successfully in practice around the UK and abroad.
Presenting Oscar Villegas with his hypnotherapy award.
The NME award winning host of Absolute Radio's breakfast show, and TV presenter Christian O'Connell kindly publicly highlighted me on his radio show for the help I'd provided to him in person, using NLP.
Matthew Manning is known as the world's most scientifically tested healer. Over the years I've hosted several of Matthew's Healing Journey workshops in the UK.
I have a good working knowledge of methods used by such Hypnosis/NLP experts as Dr Milton Erickson, Dr Virginia Satir, Dr Richard Bandler, Dr John Grinder, Paul McKenna and Anthony Robbins, plus CBT approaches first developed by Drs Aaron Beck and Albert Ellis, along with application of Dr Carl Rogers' Humanistic approach and Professor Frank Farrelly's Provocative Therapy protocols.I also have an appreciation of the more obviously spiritually inclined perspectives to therapy of the kind championed by Drs Carl Jung and Brian Weiss. I favour the Multimodel approach advocated by Dr Arnold Lazarus and Dr Albert Ellis: this method encourages therapists to gain experience in a wide variety of modalities and then use whatever method works best in a given clinical setting to enhance the likelihood of a positive outcome for the client, rather than being inflexible by placing unnecessary limits on themselves due to excessive devotion to one school of therapy. I especially value the less well-known, but equally remarkable work of Polish psychologist Dr Kazimierz Dabrowski.
During my career I've provided treatments and training for a variety of health-care and therapy providers in and around Bournemouth, Dorset, on a by-request basis, which include Boscombe Manor Medical Centre, The Yellow House, The David Lloyd Sport Centre, The Esporta Health & Raquets Club, The Carlton Hotel, and the world famous Chewton Glen Country House Hotel.

I was delighted to be invited to become a contributing author for the new Clinical Hypnosis Textbook - A Guide For Practical Intervention (third edition), which is a core textbook for the Master's Degree training programme in clinical hypnotherapy for Robert Gordon University.

Roy Hunter, Andy Tomlinson and Mark Davis, whilst Dr Ernest Rossi, who is one of the world's leading hypnotherapists and co-author of several books written with the equally legendary Dr Milton Erickson, has contributed the foreword.
My interest in my family history led me to research my family tree and my family DNA, to discover what I could about my ancestors. Whilst my recent English and Welsh roots were well known to me most of what was revealed to me turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
With two other family members, alongside prior extensive research of our family tree, which showed a widely dispersed ancestry we took four DNA tests to uncover both our recent mitochondrial DNA heritage and our deep haplogroups DNA, which revealed both my ancient Fatherline and Motherline to me. My recent ancestors, according to mitochondrial DNA tests provided by Ancestry and MyHeritage, include people from many nations and cultures, ranging from the Balkans, French, Germanic, Greek, Iberian, Irish and Italian to Middle Eastern, Scandinavian and Scottish - with finer details supported by facts uncovered by family tree records. These records showed recent American, Dutch and Swiss ancestors too. My deep mtDNA and Y-DNA (provided by LivingDNA) revealed that after my ancestors migrated from Africa many thousands of years ago down one ancestral line they spread into the Caucuses, Udmurtia (Russia), Romania, Iran and Tunisia, where many people sharing my DNA still live today, whilst down another ancestral line they travelled to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland and Poland, where today many of my distant relatives now live. These details were then checked against the evidence held on the comprehensive Family Search website.
What's remarkable is that my story is quite unremarkable. We all originate in Africa and we all share a common ancestry with a wide variety of peoples. What this means is that when we each trace our family history back far enough we are all ultimately Africans ... and much more. For example, did you know that all people of Western European and Jewish descent, along with all Arabs are believed to be descended from the prophet Mohammed? It's true. He is believed to be a 'common ancestor' to this group of people (which knowledge, if it were more widespread might go some way to diffusing tensions between his many descendants today). And did you know that millions of Europeans are believed to be descended from the Emperor Charlemagne? We are. And did you know that millions of Chinese people are believed to be descended from Confucius? They are. The same is true of all races, we each share common ancestors. The farther back in time we go, the closer our ancestors gather, until they become one and the same.
I recommend family tree research to all those interested in discovering more about their roots. Hitherto forgotten individuals like Moses, who once lived in Hampshire, and Mary who once lived in Corfe Castle became known to me. Notable historical figures, including William the Conqueror, King Alfred of Wessex, the Viking king, Ragnar Lothbrok, "the Bard", William Shakespeare, Knight Templar, Lord Robert de Scales, Queen Jane Seymour, Queen Katherine Parr, Lady Godiva of Coventry... and Charlemagne all showed up in our family tree. My story is not unique though. Many English people (like EastEnders star Danny Dyer, for example) are said to be descended from English kings and queens, leading ultimately to our common ancestors Charlemagne and Mohammed.
As a person of mixed race and widely dispersed ancestry I value my diverse heritage. It has been an illuminating journey of discovery through my ancestral past. My research has led me to understand that we are all Citizens of the World.
